Oscilloscope buys 'Wuthering Heights'
'Wuthering Heights'Oscilloscope Labs has acquired United States privileges to Andrea Arnold's "Wuthering Levels." Oscilloscope made the announcement Wednesday in the Toronto Intl. Film Festival. The up-to-date version of Emily Bronte's novel tested at TIFF on Friday after premiering in the Venice Film Festival, where it won the cinematography award. Oscilloscope intends to release the film theatrically the coming year then releases on DVD as well as in multiple digital platforms. "Wuthering Levels" is definitely an Ecosse Films Production and was co-developed and co-funded by Film4, the United kingdom Film Council, Screen Yorkshire and Goldcrest Films. Producers are Ecosse's Robert Bernstein and Douglas Rae, together with Kevin Loader. Pic stars James Howson, Kaya Scodelario, Steve Evets, Oliver Milburn, Shannon Beer and Solomon Glave.
