Tom Cruise Cast in 'All You'll Need is Kill': He'll Fight Aliens

Tom Cruise is coming back to fight. Based on Variety, the actor has signed on because the lead for that Doug Liman-directed 'All You'll Need is Kill.' In line with the graphic novel, the storyline follows a soldier in an alien war, who's instructed to experience again his last day again and again again (it's like 'Groundhog Day' with guns or 'Source Code' with aliens). Cruise was apparently not the very first option for the studio, who initially wanted Kaira Pitt to star.
